Pink Slink

Moonlight Walk In Aid Of Breast Cancer
Well everyone - it was definitely Woo Hoo Pink Slink 2009!!!
We all had a fantastic night on the 19th when we walked our second Pink Slink!
The rain cleared and left us with a brilliant night and the ladies certainly didn't disappoint - arriving wearing a great variety of outfits in Pink- it is great to see everyone dressing up specially for the occasion.
Before we started the walk we had a visit from the First Minister Alex Salmond who had across from Duff House, where he was opening an exhibition, to wish all our walker good luck. It was so nice of him to take out of his busy schedule to come and speak and give support to the ladies.
We started well ahead of time this year with the ladies hitting Sandyhill Road just as ten o'clock struck and that was them off.
The Pink Ladies had hit Banff!!!
Many of the walkers decided to continue on to Macduff for the 10 mile walk since it was such a nice night and both the 5 milers and 10 milers were home in record time this year. Well done.
So thank you everyone - all the ladies who took part, the stewards, the helpers, businesses who donated - you all help to make the Pink Slink the great fun it is!!
Have a look at the video below - you might see yourself or someone you know! Photos to follow shortly.
If you didn't walk this year - come and join us next year.
Pink Slink 2010 - watch this space!!
